Miswire protection interrupts power in an event that the GFCI receptacle is miswired by interposing line and load branch circuit supply wiring. The GFCI receptacle will deny power to receptacle face and downstream. Automatic shutter system prevents young children from inserting unwanted objects into the outlets.
