After doing research and finding out that EVIQO was highly recommended, I ordered the hardwired version. Although it is possible to install it yourself, I had it professionally installed by a Duke Energy-Approved electrician. Now that I have been using it on a daily basis, I find the construction very solid, and I really like the J1772 plug with the rubberized grip and metal clip. It has taken me some time to set up charging schedules, and I have to admit to the fact that it has been kind of frustrating to find the settings that EVIQO likes and also works with my EV's charging setting, but I think everything will settle out. I also appreciate the estimates of how much each charging session costs. Solid Marks all the way around.
