During normal operation, condensation is collected and may be slung onto the condenser to help improve cooling efficiency. If run in fan mode (no cooling) will it bring in outside fresh air, or just recirculate the stale room air?

It does not bring in outside fresh air by default. However, if you activate the built-in Fresh Air Vent Control, a small damper opens to pull a limited amount of outdoor air inside.
