Q: Just wondering if anyone has purchased this oven as its a new brand by Best Buy and has no reviews. Looking for positive or negative feedback. Thanks!

A: My wife loves it because it checks a lot of boxes. However, we (like you) struggled to find reviews. We found Best Buy Canada has a similar model with some reviews. Their big complaints were very long pre-heat and burner times, and the one we have seems to follow that pattern. (Ours may have been damaged in shipment and we are awaiting the replacement next week.) Boiling water takes much longer than our prior electric, and the thing never got up to 350 when we tested it. Will try to update this comment when the replacement comes.

Q: Becasuse of the steam clean function does this appliance need to be hooked up to a water supply like a refrigerator does for the icemaker?

A: No, you do not need to hook up this appliance to a water supply. Just pour 10 oz. (300 ml) of water onto the bottom of the empty oven and close the oven door. Use normal water only, not distilled water.

Q: Just want to make sure if this convection oven does switch to regular oven bake. So can fan be turned off for baking things like bread and cookies as usually convection ovens are not good for baking and rising dough. Thanks

A: You can choose between the "Bake" function that uses the bottom oven element for evenly cooking or the "Bake with fan icon" function that turns on the fan while baking.

Q: Where is this made?

A: Made in China

Q: I did not receive an instruction manual with this oven. Is there one online?

A: Here is the link for the User Guide https://files.bbystatic.com/fxmJfSOu%2BC9t4nlKW3wwqw%3D%3D/User%2Bguide

Q: Is this over smudge proof?

A: No, this product is not smudge proof.

Q: What is the wattage for each of the cooktop elements? Can the oven temperature be calibrated by the owner?

A: I read the user manual, and the thermostat can be calibrated plus or minus 35 degrees to insure correct baking temperatures.
