I own a 2021 Toyota Hatchback & was wondering 2 things: 1) Will this fit in my particular spare tire hubcap 2) If in the event I have to change one of my tires, is there a way I'm able to move or disconnect this unit without too much inconvenience?
Answered by JBL SupportOur JBL Bass Pro Hub has dimensions of 14-3/16” x 6-1/2” (D x H). It should fit with any 15" spare tire. You'll have to measure the inside of your spare tire hub to see if the sub will fit or not. Disconnecting the unit depends on the setup and wiring of your car.
Will this work as a plug n play for my mk7 GTI with stock fender subwoofer. It’s located in the spare tire but can I use the same wires?
Answered by JBL SupportThank you for your inquiry. Our JBL BassPro Hub is a powered subwoofer and does not qualify as a straightforward plug-and-play replacement, nor can it be operated using only the factory Fender subwoofer wiring.

Hi I am looking for a sub for a van can I just screw this into the plywood using a threaded rod to aecure it . Will the bass be effective without a well just flat . Should I put sponge between the plywood and sun bottom?
Answered by JBL SupportOur JBL BassPro Hub is designed to be mounted inside the spare tire rim. You'll need to turn your spare tire upside down to install this sub. It should only be used in vehicles that have the spare tire inside the vehicle.
