Q: Where is this microwave made.
A: It is made in the USA.
Q: Does unit have lighted keypad?
A: No. I wish it did. This is the one thing I do not like about this microwave.
Q: Can this model be used in a built in application instead of over the stove?
A: 100% yes. We preferred to use a vent hood over the range and install this over the counter below cabinetry. Had an argument with the contractor over why we were doing this and spending the money for a vented convection microwave, but he did a great install and we love it now and have used for 5-6 years.
