This 2 ohm DVC model is designed for serious bass systems that need more power, more stroke, and more Xmax than typical high performance subwoofers. Rated for 1500 to 3000 watts RMS, the 52L7XS152 uses a massive ferrite motor, 3 inch aluminum voice coil former, extra large dual spider suspension, double pressed pulp cone, and proprietary NBR surround. With 43.1 mm of Xmax and a 705 oz magnet assembly, it is built for heavy low frequency output while still aiming to remain musical as well as loud. Forced Air Cooling helps the subwoofer run cooler under hard use, and the field replaceable recone system allows faster service with no glue required. A max cooling cast aluminum basket, custom rubber magnet boot, single 8 AWG push terminal, dual 4 AWG terminal block, and dual high strand tinsel leads complete the build. KICKER recommends a 5.0 cubic foot vented enclosure tuned to 30 Hz with a 4.25 x 16.5 inch port opening and 34.75 inch port length.
