Lenovo - Yoga 7a 2-in-1 16" 2K OLED Touchscreen Laptop - AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 2026 - 24GB Memory - 512GB Storage - Copilot+ PC - Seashell

I got this laptop on sale when it was $999.99, and boy howdy was that a good deal for 24GB of RAM. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so my little girly games (Silksong, Transistor, Omori, P3P, Risk of Rain 2, games that aren't very demanding on the hardware) run great, better than they did on my old Dell Inspiron (from around 2019-ish). Some other reviewer said it runs GTA V like a charm; take that as you will. Battery life is a dream. This is my first foray into Lenovo and AMD, and so far, I'm content. There are a lot of customizable options in the built-in AMD software, letting you adjust your visual settings and the like. I don't mess around with those, but I'd imagine someone who cares would find it significant. Some things to keep in mind: - Half of the appeal of this laptop is that it flips around and can be used with a pen. KEEP IN MIND that it has to be a pen utilizing the Wacom AES protocol, whatever that means. Basically, if you had a Metapen/off-brand stylus you were using with a Dell, for example, it won't work here. You'll have to fork over the money for either the Lenovo Yoga Pen or Digital Pen (not rechargeable :P). - The keyboard brightness can be auto, high, low, or off. The auto utilizes the high brightness, and as far as I know, there isn't a way to use the low brightness in the auto setting. It's a bit of a flashbang. - If you're used to non-Lenovo computers, you'll soon find that the function keys (F1-F12) have their primary and secondary functions switched from what you might be used to. For example, on my old Dell laptop, the volume up and down buttons were the secondary functions of F2 and F3, so you need function lock to use them as vol up/down on their own. However, on this laptop, the vol up/down functions ARE the primary functions, so you won't need Fn lock for that. That's all great and dandy, but if you get the 16" version, you'll find the pause, stop, rewind, and skip buttons are sharing key real estate with the home, end, page up, and page down functions, respectively. This means play/pause are secondary functions, but they're not in F1-F12, so Fn lock won't apply to them. Basically, when you want to pause your music, you have to Fn + Pause, since "home" is the primary function. Inherently, there is no way to adjust this, so you can get something like Microsoft PowerToys and adjust the keybinds yourself as a workaround (very very easy). - The fan goes a little ham wild sometimes. Nothing a pair of noise-cancelling headphones can't fix. It's not (as far as I know) an indicator of something wrong. - The Dolby Audio enhancements are LOUD, or at least they are in my headphones. They're defaulted to "on", but you can turn it off in Settings. TL;DR: - this pc is awesomesauce, even more so when on sale - runs small-time games really well; haven't tried big time ones, but probably wouldn't recommend - only supports Wacom AES pens (lenovo yoga pen or digital pen) - no low auto keyboard brightness - Fn keys different; pause button has to be remapped to use on its own - fan gets loud and pc gets hot in performance mode, but that's a given None of these points are dealbreakers, just things you might want to know before purchase. Personally, I love this laptop. Included are pics of the keyboard when the backlight is high and low, and also one of the numberpad, where you can see the pause button above it. All were taken in pitch darkness.

I use this laptop primarily for writing and managing content for my website, along with video editing and everyday productivity, and it has been excellent so far. The OLED display is probably my favorite feature. The screen is absolutely beautiful—sharp, vibrant, and incredibly clear. Whether I'm working on website graphics, editing video, or just reading and writing for long periods, everything looks fantastic. The 24GB of RAM was also a major reason I chose this laptop, and it has definitely been worth it. I routinely have multiple browser tabs and applications open at the same time while working on my website, creating content, and editing video. I haven't experienced any noticeable slowdown or problems multitasking. I've also been pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it handles video editing. I can work on videos while keeping other applications open without having to constantly close things to free up memory. For someone who creates digital content, manages a website, edits videos, and needs a computer that can comfortably handle several things at once, this has been a great purchase. The combination of the beautiful OLED screen and 24GB of RAM makes it especially well suited for creative and productivity work. Highly recommended.

Zero complaints about the laptop itself- works great, and was everything I was hoping for and more. Very happy with my purchase overall. The one minor complaint I have would be, the charging cable included is kind of short and flimsy with only 2 prongs. Again, minor complaint all things considered. I just would have preferred a bit longer/better made of a cable with a 3rd prong for grounding protection, which I may see about purchasing externally (just wish I didn't have to). Still a massive upgrade from my last computer, very versatile and highly recommend.

I got this one on a very attractive deal in the store. The associate was very helpful. Laptop works pretty smooth and no issues in gaming too with GTA5. Overall it is great

It recognizes my voice! That's the best feature ever! I have only had to charge once since my purchase. I use this currently for my property management job. It works great. I take notes in meetings and it types them out for me. It's an asset to my career!
