Q: Does this TV have Dolby vision?

A: Yes! This TV has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Q: Does LG make shorter legs for the OLED65B5AUA? I am trying to place in my tv cabinet … Thank you!

A: I don't think so. You will need a cabinet or table at least 43 inches long.

Q: Does this TV require internet for setup and local source only use, or can I use this completely offline right out of the box?

A: The LG 65" Class B5 Series OLED AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025), Model # OLED65B5PUA, does not require internet for setup. It can can still function without being online, offering several traditional and offline capabilities. If you prefer OTA (Over-the-Air) TV Programming, you can connect an indoor or outdoor antenna to the F-Type, 75-Ohm coaxial connector on the back of the TV labeled 'Antenna/Cable In', and use the Auto Tuning function that automatically searches and remembers channels that are available for viewing, and are being broadcast at the time you search for them, or you can use the Manual Tuning to manually search and save channels, and searching and check the signal strength of the digital broadcasting. However, without internet access, you will miss out on features like streaming services and online content updates. Platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime have become essential for many viewers, offering a wide array of movies, TV series, and exclusive content. Without internet access, these services remain out of reach, limiting your ability to enjoy the vast libraries they provide. Setting up a smart TV without internet connectivity is generally straightforward. The initial setup typically involves selecting the preferred language, setting the time and date, and choosing the input sources. An internet connection enhances the setup process by allowing automatic updates and app installations, and keeping the software updated, which often includes bug fixes, new features, and security patches that protect the TV from vulnerabilities, but it is not necessary for the initial configuration...^Ivan.

Q: Are the legs on the stand adjustable?

A: No. Legs don’t appear to adjustable.

Q: What are the fps for this model?

A: FPS (Frames Per Second) and Hz (Hertz) measure different aspects. FPS refers to the number of frames generated by the graphics card per second, indicating how many images are displayed on the screen, while Hz measures the refresh rate of the TV, indicating how many times per second the display updates with a new image. Hz is what is always listed for TVs, and the LG 65" Class B5 Series OLED AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025), Model # OLED65B5PUA, has a native 120 Hz Refresh Rate like all other LG OLED TVs...^Ivan.

Top-Tier OLED At a Budget Price!

Exceptional! Needed a replacement bedroom TV after my Sony Bravia started crapping out and was looking at flagship Hisense and TCL models to save money. However, I came across this LG B5 on sale at a ridiculous price ($899 I believe) and decided to give it a shot after reading reviews online. I am blown away! While not a C-series, it still delivers outstanding picture and sound for the content I consume (mostly shows and movies on streaming services). Dark/night scenes are crisp and distinguishable; indoor scenes are vibrant, even in low lighting; skin tones are natural and not overly contrast; and black levels so deep that you don't even know they're there when the room lights are off. I've included photos, and even they don't do the TV justice. I haven't even toggled the settings to optimize the picture, as the preset levels out-the-box are near-perfect just the way they are. The sound is clear and impressive for how thin the TV is. Normal viewing at volume 10 is loud enough to fill the bedroom, and when my fiance' is asleep I can watch comfortably at volume 6. No need for a soundbar unless you're putting this in your home theater. Added bonus: you can download the Xbox Gamepass app and stream games on this bad boy! No console or PC needed! My fiance' logged in and started Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 with little to no input lag, which is crucial when dodging and parrying in this game. We weren't able to wirelessly connect the Xbox controller, which I'll need to troubleshoot; however, connecting wired into the TV's USB port is an acceptable workaround for now. I don't watch sports on this TV and haven't hooked up an actual gaming console to it, so I can't vouch for those experiences. But if you're looking for top-tier performance at a budget price and aren't quite confident with Hisense and TCL--you really can't do much better than this LG B5 OLED! Highly recommend!

Home Theater chef’s kiss on a budget

Have had it a couple weeks now. First bought the 48 inch model because of its great Black Friday Door Buster price. Got it home, and almost immediately realized that was too small for our space. Exchange for the bigger screen model was painless. Loving the picture and it fits our ‘great room’ home layout perfectly. Sitting in the right place and watching favorite movies in 4k it really is a theater experience. Only downside is the built in speakers are very bass heavy, even for normal dialog, and none of the sound settings fix it. The sound bar from old TV took care of this. WebOS interface is kinda clunky, but once everything is finally set up to our preferences, not spending much time in it. Wish the remote had a number pad for accessing TV channels without having to use the strange channel groups or virtual On-screen number pad. OLED black levels are chef’s kiss. Especially after years of getting the least expensive TVs available at time needed them. Really enjoying the Filmmaker picture setting. Def recommend for ‘affordable’ home theater experience at Black Friday Door Buster sale price of 999 clams. Would never have gotten an OLED otherwise.

    Amazing!

I recently moved into a new apartment and never a new TV for my living room. The last TV I ever purchased was from 2016, so this is obviously an upgrade. The picture quality is incredible, and the sound is equally impressive! This is also a great TV for gaming as there is little to no lag with no need to do further calibration! The colors pop, like the black color is truly black and not dark gray. If you have an Apple TV 4K box, this will heighten your experience. Also, the fact that this TV has Dolby Vision and Atmos and Samsung OLED TVs don’t mean this is a huge bonus for the same price as their models! Overall, I am glad I paid $999 for this. In fact, it’s currently $899 and BB were able to do a price match for me for the difference. Amazing! Back to the TV, it’s a must have! This is a great entry-level OLED and perfect for anyone upgrading. Only true TV enthusiasts may want the C or G level. For upgraders though, this is perfect!
