Starting with a massively overbuilt cabinet, expertly sculpted to achieve a sleek and elegant look, every aspect of the Depth Series has been carefully crafted into a perfect fusion of form and function. The force-canceling dual-woofer layout virtually eliminates performance-robbing cabinet resonances, allowing the custom 12" (Depth 212) or 15" (Depth 215) Carbon Aerocore woofers to deliver pure bass energy without coloration. The system is powered by high-output, ultra-precise amplification managed by a class-leading 64-bit Vojtko DSP engine, enabling massive dynamic output, low distortion, and exceptional musicality. It’s not only about what you can see and hear, though—it’s also about what you can’t. For example, the amplifier is fully integrated into the sleek rear panel of the cabinet. Not only does this maintain a clean aesthetic, but it also allowed our engineers to design a convection cooling system to ensure optimal performance. The aluminum trim pieces along the rear edges serve not only as visual accents, but also as functional heatsinks and air intakes for the cooling system. This powerful 500MHz processor enables wireless app control, wireless audio connection, and advanced tuning with complete transparency. It also provides full compatibility with Anthem Room Correction for optimized, room-tailored bass.
• Convection-Cooled Concealed Amplifier: Depth features a fully concealed amplifier design that keeps every side of the subwoofer looking refined. Extruded aluminum trim pieces act as convection-cooling heatsinks, drawing in cool air and releasing heat for optimal performance. Inputs are tucked neatly along the lower rear edge, keeping cables low and clean for an elegant, clutter-free appearance.
• Concealed Touch Control Interface: Depth subwoofers include a hidden Touch Control Interface behind the front logo panel. The backlit MartinLogan “zig” can be customized or turned off for a stealth look. Press beneath the logo to remove the panel and access the LED display with six context-sensitive touch controls—allowing full adjustment directly on the sub without using the app.
