A Great western. From the 70's. Very good cast. A must see. Yours truly Mike Ornelas.

This is for the Blu-ray 40th anniversary edition. The copy is as near pristine as we are ever likely to get. For those unfamiliar with the movie, Nobody (Terrence Hill) does everything possible to make sure his hero of a gunfighter (Henry Fonda) goes out in a blaze of glory. Fonda on the other hand merely wants to retire alive. This underrated Western spoof was produced by Sergio Leone as stands up well as a comedy or a spaghetti western. The Blu-ray is even cleaner than the DVD put out previously (taking into account, of course the age of the material) and looks great! Strangely the title sequence titles (not the dialogue) is in the original Italian, while the DVD was in English. A fun movie all around. Nobody's story of the little bird is not to be missed. If Italian westerns and comedy are not your thing, then skip it, but if you enjoy this type of movie and want to see Fonda turn in a great restrained performance do not miss it.

If you like Westerns, Comedies, and Spoofs, you can't find a better film than Sergio Leone's send up of his other journey's into the legends of the American Wild West with his offering of My Name Is Nobody, starring Terence Hill (of the My Name is Trinity Series), who is presented as the fastest gun in the West bar none, but is very much unknown to those who are seeking the status of top gun! His costar is the classic actor Henry Fonda (used previously by Leone in Once Upon a Time in the West), also a master gunslinger, but with a wide spread reputation, who is trying to retire from his fame. It is a wonderful tongue in cheek adventure produced by the master of the Spaghetti Westerns, and scored by his masterful musical counter part Ennio Morricone. This Blu-Ray is the 40th Anniversary Edition, which proves good cinema never gets old!
