Works great- cheap parts- wrong charger included

I would buy this scooter again. It runs great, goes up hills great!(why I bought it) and is easy for my 10 year old to use. That being said- some parts of it are made with very cheap plastic. For example the main part that attaches the speedometer to the handlebars broke when I tried to attach it and I didn’t use a lot of force. I had to use tape and zip ties to reattach it- kind of ghetto looking. Then my daughter fell once and one of the reflectors came right off. Also the wrong charger came with it so I had to buy another. It needs a 65 W charger and the one it came with was 45 W. The box was sealed when I bought so seems to be a manufacturer mistake. I would recommend this scooter but it’s just more fragile than anticipated.

Worked great but now getting an error code

It worked great at first. It came with a charging cord. It's still working but I'm getting an error code and it gets really loud so I have to shut it off. Hopefully the warranty will cover it. I've had it less than a month.

    NIU KQi1

The Pros Sturdy Build Quality: Made from aerospace-grade aluminum, it feels solid and premium compared to generic budget brands. Lightweight & Portable: At ~34 lbs, it is easy to fold up and carry up stairs or onto public transit. Smart Features: Integrates with the NIU Bluetooth App for custom riding modes, battery health tracking, and remote locking. Safety First: Features a wide deck for comfortable foot placement alongside effective front and rear braking systems. The Cons No Suspension: Rides over bumpy roads, gravel, or cobblestones can feel stiff and jarring. Modest Power: The 250W continuous motor handles flat terrain easily, but slows down noticeably on steeper inclines. Real-World Range: While advertised at 18 miles, real-world range drops closer to 10–12 miles depending on rider weight and speed settings. Over all If you need an affordable, well-constructed "last-mile" scooter for short, flat routes, the NIU KQi1 Pro is a great choice.

    Great product for the money

I got this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it! Rides smoothly, faster than you think, weight is appropriate and handles well. The light function could be improved . Reason why is not a 5 star is the cord that came with the scooter was long but did not charge.

    DOA out of the box

Not only did the cable not work to charge it (I had to buy my own and contacted cc service to get a replacement and they told me to just buy another one) I went to try to use the scooter for the first time today and it wouldn’t go over 3 mph. I unpaired it and repaired to my phone. As well as do the tutorial again and it wouldn’t go faster than that. I’m thinking that this company is actually a joke. (NIU not bb)
