Q: What is the distance between the two arms for the dips? I wanna know if there will be enough room for me to do pull-ups. Also, what are the maximum distances of the regular grip and wide grip on the pull up bar?

A: HungryBoi749 Here are the measurements taken for this Carbon Strength Power Tower. The pull-up bar at the top is the widest point on this equipment with the two angled tips of the bar being 45 inches apart. The straight part of this pull-up bar measures 26 inches from each point where it connects to the stand. The backrest padding is about 11 inches wide. Each horizontal bar reaches out from the backrest area about 20 inches to the front handles. Measurements from the inner edge of the right arm rest padding to the inner edge of the left arm rest padding is about 22 inches. This arm rest is approximately 56 inches from the floor. The approximate measurement from vertical handle to vertical handle is about 26 inches. Let us know if we can provide any further information by emailing us at [email protected]. Thanks - ProForm

Q: Oh my goodness... My boyfriend and I are both 50 plus years old and are quite well educated but for some reason we cannot figure out how to get the freaking pull-up bar to lock in? The dimensions do not seem correct especially once the cross bar in

A: Try switching the legs. You'll have to take it apart but it was pretty fast. I think the legs are marked left and right when looking at it from behind, like you're standing on it. That's how the pull up bar would fit for me. Once we switched the legs it went together easily.

Q: How high is the pull up bar? I know the unit is 84" tall. I'm wondering if the pull up bar is a little lower.

A: Jumbo The pull up bar is approximately one inch lower (83” high) than the highest point on this unit’s height (84”). If you would like further information, email us at [email protected]. Thanks - ProForm

Q: What is the arm rest size (distance from hand grip to the bar in the back of the elbows)? Just so I can know if I’ll be able to actually rest my back while working abs.

A: Renata Thank you for your question. The distance from the hand grip to the backrest is approximately 19 inches. We are always here to help if you have more questions. We can be emailed directly at: [email protected]. Thanks! - ICON Health & Fitness

Q: What is the distance between the posts that hold the pull up bar?

A: The open end at the top is 24” in between the rails. The vertical rails have about 17-3/4” distance in between them.

Q: The manual I located online states base is: Length 46 inches & width 45 inches. Specs on tanother site state base is: 57 inch depth & 41 inch width. Given this discrepancy, what would be appropriate mat size to purchase & place under this product?

A: LCP We are sorry for the confusion this may have caused you. The correct dimensions of this tower are: 84” Height x 45” Width x 46” Depth. We would recommend finding a mat that is a few inches larger than the base of the tower to offer proper stability. If you need help finding a mat or have further questions, email us directly at: [email protected]. Your personal case ID number is: 149569. Thanks! - ICON Health & Fitness
