There's a scannable QR code on the back that links to a digital pet profile that must be set up in the Ring app. The Pet Profile displays important information about the pet, such as name, health issues, medication, and dietary needs. Once linked, any time the QR code is scanned, it will open the Lost Pet Flyer for the pet, which includes critical information from the Pet Profile. The flyer has a Contact Owner button, which allows the person who scanned the tag to make a call or send a text message anonymously to the pet’s owner. For safety and privacy reasons, both the scanner and the pet owner’s names and phone numbers remain anonymous unless either party chooses to share their information to help reunite the pet with the owner.
