A: Yes. But you need to download a wi-fi calling app and use it over wi-fi.

A: Sadly, no. That is my major disappointment about this unit.
Q: how much is the data per month
A: You are usually charged an activation fee through Verizon, but I'm not sure how this works with Best Buy. After that, I believe you pay $10 a month, in addition to a fee for the amount of data that you think you will need each month. This can vary quite a bit, depending on how much you will be using your tablet without having any wireless service (as long as you have wireless available, you don't need to use the data), but could be as low as $20.00 a month for 2 GB.
