Q: Does this stream Netflix to my tv even if I don't have a smart tv?
A: Yes it will stream netflix, the player has the ability built it. It will work with WiFi and through ethernet cable, just depends on your setup. The TV does not need to be a smart tv, the player will decode and send the signal to the tv. I recently purchased one and am very satisfied with it. Hope this helps
Q: what accessories are with player
A: Remote Control
A: From what I recall is that when you first try to log into Amazon it wants a number and you have to log into your Amazon account via your computer to activated the Samsung player. Amazon will give you a number that you then enter into the requested box on your Samsung. After that it will let you log into the Amazon app and let you put in your Amazon account information on the Samsung player.
Q: Can this be used with an old big back tv that isn't a flat panel?
A: YES it can be used with an older tv. You must buy and adapter that has HDMI on one end and the 3 audio and video cords on the other end.
Q: Can you watch Hulu live TV with this Blue Ray Player?
A: According to the Hulu Help Page the Live TV feature is only available on Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-Rays dating 2017 or later, which this model does not (only the J7500 would qualify). I know that the Samsung J5700 does not support Sling TV, which would essentially be the same thing. I purchased this Blu-Ray player in order to stream Netflix and Amazon but I had to buy a Roku in order to download Sling. You can visit the Hulu Help Page and enter the phrase “What devices can I use to watch Hulu and Hulu Live” and it will bring you to a page on which you can check compatibility. However, it seems that this model doesn’t support it, so you’d also have to invest in a Roku or Amazon Fire Stick.
Q: Dose it have Amazon Prime App...on this DVD I already have Amazon Prime
