A: Hi, although it may work with most windows 10 devices, we cannot guarantee compatibility with all windows devices - our keyboards were programmed to work best within the apple ecosystem

Great backlit alternative to Mac's Magic Keyboard
I purchased the Satechi - Slim X3 Full-Size Bluetooth Scissor Keyboard Backlit Keys - Space Gray because I needed a backlit keyboard. At the time I purchased, I had been using the Mac Magic Keyboard. I have fairly good typing skills, but in dark environments, I was constantly trying to type with my hands misplaced on the keyboard, as the Magic Keyboard does not have a very pronounced home key slot for the index fingers and Mac doesn't make a backlit version. I have only had the Satechi keyboard for 1 day, but it has fixed my problems with hand placement (especially in the dark due to backlit capability of the Satechi). The keyboard has power-saving features that will slowing dim the backlight when not in used for a while and automatically turns of the backlight when not in use. I haven't had the keyboard long enough to tell how the battery life will be, but I am expecting to be pleasantly surprised (I will come back to amend if not). At half the cost of the Mac and with backlight functions, this keyboard is a blessing to me. It looks very similar to the Magic Keyboard and if you tried, would probably have a hard time telling any differences. I actually like the Satechi better. I will keep my Magic Keyboard as a backup.
