The device itself has a 105-dB alarm plus comes with an external 105-dB siren you can place under the engine hood for even more attention. There is also a separate panic button you can trigger on the device itself. The Pro TX-168 has 2 charging ports -- USB-A (5 volts/2.4 amps) and USB-C(R) (5 volts/3 amps) -- for charging external devices. In addition to charging in vehicles via the cigarette lighter socket, it can also be charged at home or in offices by a micro USB cable, not included. The PIR automatic alarm triggers when it detects motion up to 10-ft. away. The built-in 500-mAh battery has a working time of up to 7 days and standby time of about 10 days -- even when engine is switched off. The remote has a working radius of 33 ft. and the Pro TX-168 Universal Alarm will accept up to a total of 3 remotes (additional remotes sold separately). The alarm is quickly and easily installed, and you don't have to be an engineer to set up and handle this anti-theft gadget. You can even use it as a stand-alone device since it has a rechargeable battery!
