A: No, I purchased an external Bluray USB for $70
Q: can this model be upgraded to 4GB of RAM at the Best Buy Store?
A: I do not think this model can be upgraded from the 2 gig of memory. I was worried about this also but found that it runs fine with the 2 gig of ram. I can tell you that it boots really fast and is really light weight.

A: Yes. When I set up the laptop, there was a screen that asked me to accept or reject the opportunity to reserve a free upgrade for Windows 10 once it is available.
Q: Can you print via usb cable, or is it cloud based?
A: Yes, you can. I do it all the time. The first time you do it, you will need to wait for the printer to send some information to your computer, which could take a few minutes. After that just plug the USB cable in and your printer will connect almost instantly.
Q: Can the solid state drive be upgraded?
A: Yes the Solid State Disk drive is easily accessible by removing 10 screws holding the whole back panel on. You must then carefully pry the cover off. The mSATA solid state disk drive is held on by only one screw. For my needs 128 GB is more than enough space and if I needed more I would use an external disk drive through the USB ports. The included SSD is fast. I was very disappointed though that the DDR3L RAM is too hard to get to. It is hidden by some internal boards that I did not want to risk removing. Too bad because 8 GB of DDR3L RAM can be purchased for only $40 and would make this machine much faster. I may take the risk after I remove all of the bloatware.

This laptop will handle YouTube and Netflix streaming videos just fine but keep in mind that your Internet connection speeds will have a significant impact on the streaming experience. Also, the display featured in this laptop is 1366 x 768 native resolution so it will not support 1080p videos in their native format.
