Right from the start, I was incredibly impressed with the Kone II Air mouse. The packaging for it is easily identifiable and details of the mouse are included. The mouse comes with grip tape, a quick start guide, a 2.4Ghz wireless USB receiver and USB-A adapter, and a USB-C to USB-A charging cable. Even though the Kone II Air came in a pretty package, it really impresses with its performance. So far, the battery life is what I expected it to be. Build Quality The build quality is solid. It’s very lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap. The material has a matte finish, but doesn’t seem to retain fingerprints or oils from hands easily. The wheel turns easily and it’s easy to reach all the buttons on it without straining my hand or fingers. I like the placement of the RGB effects. There are a lot of mice that have RGB lighting, but the placement is such that you can’t see it if you are using it. The mouse seems durable and it’s very comfortable to use. Ergonomics & Comfort The mouse is definitely designed for right-handed users. It does, however, support palm, claw, or fingertip grips well (I tried all three). It seems to be well-suited for long gaming sessions. I played for a couple of hours and didn’t notice any major strain on my hand. It’s a medium to large sized mouse and it’s shape is conducive to standard use as well as gaming. It does not have a place to add additional weight to it. Connectivity & Compatibility The Kone II Air can be connected through Bluetooth, 2.4Ghz dongle, or wired through a USB-C connection. It connected quickly and effortlessly using any of the options. I used it with my PC Gaming Laptop as well as a secondary laptop and even a tablet. The USB receiver can be stored underneath the mouse, which is perfect for traveling. Gaming Performance The mouse has been incredibly responsive. I love the way the buttons feel and I haven’t experienced any lag with it. There was very minimal lift off distance and button input was snappy. The polling rate of this mouse is 1000Hz and I could definitely tell when I was gaming. The scroll wheel gives you the option of free-spin or notched scrolling. The wheel does tilt and it acts as a button, too. You can also change the DPI at will while using the mouse. This has helped me immensely as I game and just use the mouse in general. Software The Turtle Beach Swarm II software is easy to install and simple to use. Everything is on one scrollable page, and it walked me through a quick update for both the mouse and receiver right after setup. Within a few minutes, I had my DPI levels set, firmware updated, and RGB lighting turned off (except for the battery indicator, which I kept on). You can adjust just about everything—DPI, polling rate, lift-off distance, debounce time, angle snapping, and more. One feature I really like is Easy-Shift[+], which lets you assign a shift button to unlock secondary functions for the rest of the buttons. It also supports automatic profile switching and RGB syncing with other Turtle Beach devices. I didn’t run into any bugs or issues while using it. Overall, the Kone II Air is a fantastic wireless gaming mouse that checks all the right boxes. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and packed with features that actually make a difference whether you’re gaming or just getting things done. The multiple connectivity options, solid build, responsive buttons, and customizable software all come together to deliver a premium experience. If you’re looking for a reliable, ergonomic mouse with excellent performance and customization, the Kone II Air is absolutely worth considering.

The Turtle Beach Kone II Air is a solid wireless mouse that strikes a nice balance between comfort, performance, and customization. Even on a bare desk surface, the movement is smooth and consistent thanks to the PTFE glides on the underside of the mouse. There's no scraping or resistance, just clean tracking that works well for both everyday tasks and more precise moments, like in games or in design software. Aesthetically, the Kone II Air keeps things modern with the dual-zone RGB lighting that is synonymous with PC gaming peripherals nowadays. These LED colors, as well as polling rate, lift-off distance, and debounce can be customized by enabling the config mode via a button sequence. Additionally, the shortcuts/macros via the Easy-Shift button, LED's, and other settings can also be customized through the SWARM II software in Windows. This mouse is designed with ergonomics in mind. It is shaped well to fit comfortably in the hand and the included grip tape adds some needed friction to the sides. The mouse has a slightly weighted feel which gives it a solid presence during use without feeling sluggish. The scroll wheel deserves a mention as well: it’s smooth, spins freely, and doesn’t have the notched resistance that many wheels do. One of the more useful features is its dual connectivity. The ability to switch between Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless with the switch on the underside of the mouse makes it flexible for different setups. I’ve mostly stuck with 2.4GHz for the low latency, and it’s been solid with no noticeable input lag or connection drops. Overall, the Kone II Air functions really well out-of-the-box plug-and-play vanilla style, and can also accommodate the power users who want full control of their mouse and its additional features. It's comfortable, reliable, and customizable without being overcomplicated. If you're looking for a capable wireless mouse with a bit of flair and flexibility, it’s definitely worth considering.

Really well done gaming mouse. I was a bit apprehensive at first seen a Turtle beach mouse (I've know them more for their gaming headphones and game pads) but I was put at ease right away when I started using this mouse. They include all you need in the box. A 2.4Ghz wireless dongle (USB type A), a dongle adapter (Type A to type C) so you can use the included cable to extend the reach of the wireless signal (I did not, it was plenty strong when I plugged the dongle directly to one of my PC USB ports on the back), a nice and long braided Type A to C USB charging cable, some stickers with a nice grip texture (in case you feel the mouse plastic is to slippery; which I thought I would need since I have dry skin and thought I would not have a good grip, but I have not needed to use those at all) and a quick start manual guide. Setting it up was super easy, all I had to do is plug in the wireless dongle and turn on the mouse (I had some charge already) and it was working right away. The manual gives you instructions if you want to operate and configure the mouse without using their software (they call it driverless setup), which you can do. However I did download and install their "swarm 2" software to fully configure its features via it. Upon launching the software it detected an update for it and also a firmware update for both the mouse and the dongle, I let them go through. After that I was on to the races to configure it. There is lots of settings (and they are very well layered and each one has a small "?" to tell you what they are for). With it it was easy to configure the RGB lighting, DPI settings, polling settings, battery saving settings, calibrations (for your mouse mat) etc. They also support configuring each button and the very important easy shift button. With it you can enable a second layer of functions for each button (and even predefined macros, which very nicely they have a list of the most popular games out there to quickly configure). The software is very well done and does not take any resources or is bloated at all like other ones I have tried. The only con I feel is they have so many separated apps for each things (I have one apart for my turtle beach game pad controller, now another one for the mouse, I just wish the would consolidate their software in just one for all their products). Ergonomically, the mouse feels great. I was a bit apprehensive since it looked chunky compared to other mouses and I have small hands, however I was able to have a great grip on it. Its designed to accommodate several types of grips (like claw, full hand on top etc.). All the buttons feel great when clicked and not wobbly at all. The mouse glides gracefully on my mouse mat (did do a calibration). The RGB lighting is great and you can configure it too, I have it set up so it tells me the battery levels. Battery life has been great and I just plug it in at night and unplug it during the day and has worked great. Really positively surprised by the quality and features, never thought Turtle beach would make great mouses!

The mouse constantly goes into sleep mode, and it takes about 30 seconds to wake it up, sometimes you have to turn it off and on for it to start working. I use it with two devices, and each time it reconnects, it shows up as a new device, so the panel ends up cluttered with old connections. The Swarm app, where you supposedly can fix the sleep mode, doesn’t work at all and isn’t updated. Never buy this mouse if you have more than one device and want to use Bluetooth connection. Their support is an AI bot that can do nothing except ask for your address, name, and phone number, and half of its advice is blocked by their own censorship system. I've never seen such awful software.
