A: The Sound Bar section of these bars are very similar. They'll both offer fantastic room filling audio, and overhead speakers projection to experience Atmost Audio. The main difference is that the SB36512 comes with rear speakers for more immersive 'Surround Sound'.
A: It will play 5.1 as well as Dolby Atmos with a Xbox One or on certain tvs. I just watched so Disney+ on my Roku stick and it was fantastic.
A: This is a closed system, meaning that it doesn't allow for additional speakers to be added to it.
A: The upward firing speakers are only active when Atmos content is present.

A: The HDMI cable included can pass 4K HDR content.
Q: Where would I place the subwoofer to get the best sound?
A: We recommend placing the subwoofer towards the back of the room where you will be sitting.
Q: How will this sound using optical input, will it sound like surround sound
A: The optical input will supply up to a 5.1 audio signal to the sound bar however it would not be capable of providing Atmos audio to the sound bar.
