A: Knobs are plastic. You have to push them down to turn them as I believe is a requirement for all newly manufactured stove tops. Shafts are steel.
Q: How do I clean my cooktop? Which product should I use?
A: My cooktop was ordered last November to be installed February 8, 2022. Still hasn't been delivered and Best Buy has no idea when it will be available.
Q: Can I use cast iron on this cooktop?
A: If you research this online it states that yes, you can. You need to use some cautions which are basically common sense, like don't drop cast iron down on the surface and don't slide the pan from one element to another. But, these are precautions I would use no matter what kind of cookware you're using.

A: It is not an induction cooktop. It works very well and heats up fast. I have not been disappointed.

Best ever!
The Whirlpool cooktop is not only easy to use but also SO beautiful! I have used Whirlpool appliances for over 30 years, including stoves, dishwasher, ovens, washer and dryers and my microwave!! Whirlpool is the only choice for me when it comes to appliances! This purchase of this cooktop was the best and easiest decision for me! I love it !

Great deal , can't beat the price.
Looks great , makes my kitchen look much better and works great. The sales people at Best Buy are great. I got the best deal and it couldn't of happened at a better time. I bought an open box glass top stove at a super discounted price. I thought it had a problem and they exchanged it with a better upgraded stove at the same price. In my book that is good customer service. Thanks !!!
