Make parking simple with this THINKWARE X500 TWA-X500750R rear-view camera, which is compatible with THINKWARE X500 and F750 dash cameras and can be installed on a rear window to capture crisp high-definition footage with 1080p resolution at 30 fps.
A: Hi Mona! This rear-view camera is an accessory specific to the Thinkware F750 and X500 dash cams, so the dash cam is required for the rear-view camera to be used. Although customers have used the rear-view perspective on the X500 LCD display for parking assistance, the rear-view camera was not made for the purpose. This product is available at Best Buy online and the Geek Squad representatives will be happy to provide installation services. Please let us know if you have additional questions by contacting us directly by phone (1-844-865-9273) or email ([email protected]). Thinkware Customer Support
A: It does run on a loop system and will keep the recording till it is recorded over. It would depend on how much recording you do. The thing I like is if your vehicle is bumped the camera will save the footage of the area 15 seconds before the bump and also verbal recordings outside and inside the vehicle. It does not save any recordings unless the vehicle is hit/bumped. At least that was what I was told by the installer. You can capture the data audio and video to use in court. I have an SUV and the camera is mounted back from the rear glass it looks good and is hard to see the unit. It would be best to have it installed by them unless you have some time and skill to make it look good in the vehicle.
A: Hi there! Another way to access footage is inserting the MicroSD to your computer and then review/save footage on there. Critical footage are also saved on the internal memory of the dash cam thanks to a proprietary feature called "Dual Save Technology". Dual Save files can be transferred onto a new MicroSD card when prompted. We hope this answers your questions! Please contact us directly by phone (1-844-865-9273) or email ([email protected]). Q: Can the rear camera be installed on a convertible and if so where is the best place to install it?
A: No, you will not be able to.
A: Hi there, Please note that this particular item is a rear-camera and needs to be used with either a F750 or X500 to operate. For parking surveillance mode as well, we highly recommend hardwiring the dash cam to your vehicle's fuse box to ensure that the dash cam can detect any unwarranted activity while you're away from the vehicle. If the camera detects and records the unwarranted activity, the video file can certainly act as proof to support your claims. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us by email ([email protected]) or phone (1-844-865-9273). Kind regards, Thinkware Customer Support
A: Hi there. For dual channel dash cams like the F750 and X500, users can only add one camera accessory to each front model. If you would like a 360 degree set up, you would need two separate dual channel systems. Please also consider that a 360 degree set up are likely to require two different power sources. We hope this answers your question! Please let us know if you would like more details or have additional questions by email ([email protected]) or phone (1-844-865-9273). A: Hi there, The TWA-X500F750R is a rear camera. For front recording, please consider the TW-X500 or TW-F750. Please note that both of these models are compatible with the rear camera if you would like a dual channel system for front + rear coverage. Kind regards, Thinkware Customer Support
