Frustration with Ring Chime Generation 2 Installat
I recently purchased the Ring Chime Generation 2, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. I was excited to enhance my home security system, especially since my Ring Doorbell works perfectly. However, the installation process for the Chime has been incredibly frustrating. Despite following all the recommended steps from Ring Support—resetting the Chime, restarting my Wi-Fi, and even routing my Wi-Fi ports to ensure compatibility—I still cannot get the Chime to connect. I’ve attempted everything suggested, yet the device continues to fail during setup, displaying persistent error messages. While I appreciate the functionality of my Ring Doorbell, the Chime has been a major disappointment. I expected a seamless integration, but this has turned into a lengthy hassle. I hope Ring can improve the setup process for their Chime devices in the future. If you’re considering purchasing the Ring Chime, be prepared for potential installation difficulties, even if you have a well-functioning Ring Doorbell.

Good for money
Easy set up. Definitely have to use the doorbell hook up transfer wire or camera will not connect. Only downside as I only wanted to use the chime it came with not use my existing. Good quality picture.
