I got this laptop during the techtober sale and it was so worth it. This laptop is a beast and can do it all. I wanted a portable gaming PC and that's what I got! It runs every game I've tried so far really well. I got it mainly for gaming but also for drawing. Its been working super smoothly for that as well, I have genuinely noticed no issues. I also picked it up in store at my nearest location and the workers were very nice and helpful the whole time. Definitely worth your money!!

The ASUS TUF series offers great hardware performance at a competitive price point, but unfortunately, the build quality leaves much to be desired. Out of the box, the screen was slightly bent/curved on the right side. Also either the board or the cooling system may have been pushing the keyboard upward. On the positive side, the 1080p display is excellent for FPS gaming, delivering smooth visuals that make fast-paced titles enjoyable. The system runs games reliably and has the specs needed for demanding titles. That said, the fit and finish issues—like the warped screen and raised keyboard—take away from what could have been a near-perfect budget gaming laptop. Overall: If you don’t mind some minor flaws here and there, this is still a solid machine with strong gaming performance for the price.

It took me 8 hours to transfer over from 2019 specced Acer Nitro 5, with 8GB RAM, a laptop GTX 1650Ti, and an Intel i5-10300H, but after getting everything off my HDD onto a 2nd SSD and popping that 2nd SSD in I was off to the races. The first week was bliss. Sure, the fans can sound like a jet engine taking off, but thats actually what I want to hear when I make this thing run BoneWorks (and it runs the game extremely well... why dont more people try to do PCVR with one of these?). After my first BIOS update though, things started going south. Now, when I go to open a game, it feels like Windows rolls an invisible D20, and if I fail the save the entire system just reboots.... for no apparent reason AT ALL. It did this twice when I went to launch Megabonk a few days ago, and it did it to me again tonight when I went to launch Prey 2017. I'm actually glad it didnt decide to do it while I was in VR, or I'd of probably been BIG MAD after I got done getting my stomach to stop doing blackflips. Don't get me wrong, computer will rip thru EVERYTHING I throw at it, but the restart issue? PLEASE FIX IT, ASUS!! P.S: Battery life need not apply due to the nature of the loads this baby will carry... it stays plugged in and on a cooling pad unless being transported. As for that recommendation... the restart issue is the only caveat I have against it, I hope you arent planning a game marathon!!
