Q: How many live TV stations do you get
A: That is entirely dependent on where you live, what tuner and antenna you’re using. This is not a streaming service. Ta TV guide data so you can program your DVR and requires a computer running your tuner and a plex server program.
Q: What channels come with this?
A: None. You have to hookup a TV tuner to it, then what your antenna can pick up
A: You can buy a Plex membership for yourself directly through Plex. However, if you want to buy a Plex membership as a gift (birthday, Christmas, whatever), Best Buy is really your only option. (I haven't done it yet, but it feels like you need to be a Best Buy member, as well as the recipient. I'll post more information - assuming Best Buy will let me edit this post - as I find out.)
A: I use an HDHomerun tuner with my Plex DVR.
Q: On my fire tv, can i record broadcast tv and then play it later.
A: The short answer is no. You can play shows recorded in Plex on your fire tv, but would need to setup and install Plex Server on a computer or streaming device that supports it, and has adequate storage..
Q: Please explain "lifetime". My lifetime? The lifetime of the device I install it on? Something else?
A: Lifetime for your plex account regardless of any device you install plex.
A: With Plex DVR I can either play with commercial, skip commercials or delete them completely.
A: Simple answer no. Chromebook isn't helpful. Yes tho you can use external drives for Plex storage
