24" Class (23-5/8" Diag.) - LED - 720p - HDTV DVD Combo

It is lightweight and portable and has a bright screen view-able from side angles without loss unlike most straight on viewing screens. The DVD player sometimes gets temperamental on accepting a disc. The table base is not adjustable and wobbly if put on a desk or a table you sit at where you may bump it. The DVD player will not play some older DVD discs ten years old or older. I do not like the remote control for the DVD player. The eject button is where most play functions are it should be in the upper top corner of the remote not right with the main function controls. You will accidentally eject the DVD when you think you are hitting the play button. The function controls to the DVD player are very small. You have to have a back-light on to see the remote functions.On a lot of DVD series and some movies the picture may appear grainy especially in dark scenes. Sometimes it almost seems to go out of focus and looks blurry on dark scenes. This may be due to the quality of the DVD but I noticed it even on some premium quality productions. The unit stays cool and hardly emits any heat. For what you pay for it you get what you pay for. If there was a better quality unit out there one that would accept Blu-ray I would spend the extra money and buy that one. 3 stars because its adequate but not fantastic.

This is the second one I have purchased. This one was great for the kids room. Got rid of their klunky DVD player and old tube TV and hung this one right on the wall with a SANUS Full Motion TV mount good for 13" - 39" displays. It was VERY simple to hang, as long as you can find a stud in the wall. Picture quality is great. I wouldn't even know it was 720p and not 1080p. Initial setting is a bit dim, but you have several picture options to brighten the screen. I think we settled on "Dynamic". I think at this size it is probably not worth spending extra money on anything over 720p. I would reserve the 1080p and higher resolution to the large screen TV's. The kids are thrilled with their new TV...Not to mention the ROKU we got them as a Christmas gift...but I will reserve that review for that product.

This unit is a good size for the bedroom, and the included DVD player works seamlessly. The picture quality is good but the sound from the internal speakers is a bit weak. Even though the instructions say that I should be able to, I can't get it to sync with my Satellite remote, so I have to keep both remotes on hand, which is a bit of an inconvenience, and the remote buttons are a too small for my old eyes. But overall, I am quite pleased with the purchase, and I think it is an excellent set for the price. I bought it to replace a 10 year old 19 inch Samsung with no DVD and I am quite pleased with the picture quality as compared to the Samsung. It's a Great Value.

I never thought I would want a TV for my kitchen, but I recently moved into this new area and found that many people had TVs in their kitchen. So I bought one for myself. I bought the same kind I have for my bedroom...An Insignia 24 inch LED HDTV DVD combo. I figured I liked watching it in the bedroom, so I it would be good to watch in the kitchen also. And I was right. I love having the TV there. I often have it on while cooking and baking. More often, just having a cup of coffee and enjoying the day while watching it. It is the perfect size for the kitchen counter top..big enough to be able to watch comfortably yet not so big as to take up too much counter space. And the TV has such a brilliant and sharp picture. I am so glad I did this and that I did not wait a long time before I realized that a TV in the kitchen is a good thing.

I bought this TV with integral DVD player specifically for the bedroom of my RV. It is the perfect size for that space, and it is thin enough to mount on the wall behind the door, so it does not take up extra space or obstruct movement in any way. Picture and sound quality are great. I looked at several makes and models before buying this one due to the intended use and space restrictions. This was the only one I found that fit perfectly.,

Excellent TV for the money. I bought this for a summer internship where I just wanted something small and cheap. After setting it up, which was an easy process, I am very impressed by the quality of the TV. The sound quality is good enough, but very tinny and muffled. This is more or less expected on TVs today, but I was hoping for something with a bit better sound. Overall, I would strongly recommend this TV for someone that is looking for good value and a good picture in a smaller room.

I needed a small tv for my bedroom and this was the perfect size. The DVD inclusion is a real bonus, and the price can't be beat. Picture quality is fine. When I hooked it up to Comcast, I had a little trouble getting the Insignia and the Comcast to sync up, so now I use one control for volume and on/off and the other to change channels. Someone more adept could probably combine the controls. I also find the volume to be not very generous (especially on DVDs), but again this could be because of using dual controls. It is somewhat lightweight, and since I had to put it on a riser to get the correct height for bedroom use...the stability is somewhat of a factor, but not too bad.

I bought this TV to put in my travel trailer because it had a DVD player built in. I was not expecting first-class quality, especially at the price--but I was very pleasantly surprised when I turned it on. It's truly a great TV AND DVD player, and it comes 98% adjusted out of the box. The only adjustment I've made is to change the setting from "power saving" to "standard" on the picture quality, which gives the picture even more depth. A good friend of mine is planning to buy one for his travel trailer after seeing mine.
