Q: Will the top shelf hold 75 pounds
A: Not certain. But I would not attempt it.
Q: Does it come assembled? And if not, how easy is it to assemble?
A: I paid for assembly. The assembly personnel did an outstanding job. I looks exactly like the picture. It's worth it to pay for assembly because these guys know what they are doing and the end result is completely satisfactory.

Q: How does this stand hold a 32" tv when it is only 27" wide? My 32" tv is 28.5"wide......
A: The glass shelves extend out OVER the wood base to accommodate a 32" TV (but just barely) - it still looks great.
