||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tv for someone who is not looking for a smartv and still want a great picture. Nice TV for a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this TV as an 'open box' item with about a $25 discount. I have purchased other Insignia TV's before (32" models) and they have never disappointed me. This model also as good picture and good sound. Takes about 5 seconds to start up, but that is not a big deal. It has 2 HDMI ports which is fine (3 would have been even better) since this is the preferred way to hook up a cable box, blue ray or streaming player. It is not a 'smart' tv, but I find those to be too limited in functionality and rather hook up a streaming player of my own choice. You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on a fancy 'name brand' TV when you can get an Insignia to do the same job for much less.

Great tv for a small apartment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I finally decided to buy a digital tv after the old cathode ray one we had could no longer pick up any channels. We were looking for something small enough that either of us could move it on our own but still would give us a great picture. This model fit the bill for both aspects We are very happy with it but still struggle a bit with operating the remote since it is a lot more complicated than we are used to.

Overall, this is a good TV for a reasonable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is used in the kitchen and replaces a smaller flat panel HDTV. The picture is good, and the sound is fine for the kitchen and eating area. It was easy to set up and convert to cable box remote use. We would recommend this TV for anyone looking for a medium sized, reasonably priced HDTV.

Good for the price paid; unsure yet long-term
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In the short-term (first 30 days) it is worth the money. It did a decent job of picking up the local stations using just an single outdoor antenna, so the tuner is fairly sensitive. The hue/color isn't as good as a $800 TV, but this isn't an $800 TV. Seems just a little overly bright and colors aren't as deep as a projection TV, but for the money, it is worth it. For it's size, 720 is plenty enough resolution as well. Good buy so far.
