Extremely poor quality and functionality

This Wahl unit happens to be one of the worst and, with respect to value, is the worst by far. Right out of the box, with a brand new battery, the on/off switch failed; I was unable to get the unit to even function. After fiddling around with the switch for 10 minutes or so, the unit functioned.....but just barely. It offers a minimal amount of power, does not trim closely, and feels as if it is very cheaply made. I'm really surprised Wahl allowed its name to be used in connection with this product. Avoid this trimmer. Opt for a different unit; it's hard to imagine you'll get one that's as poorly made and dysfunctional as this one.
