A: This unit is better. They are having to compete in an extremely competitive budget-friendly soundbar market so theyre only choice was to jam features in for as cheap as possible.
Q: does it come with HDMI cable ?
A: No it does not. It does include an optical cable
Q: Would you recommend this soundbar on a Samsung UHD with an XBox One S?
A: I can come close - I bought this for my Sony UHD and an Xbox one X in January 2018 - and it has blown me away with how it sounds. It is great with gaming: Call of Duty sounds realistic, rich, and vibrant. When "Dunkirk" was on and the surround sound activated, it sounded like I was on the beach with the troops. I do have to fiddle with the various options on some TV shows, however, and some sound better than others. However, at this price point and for what you get, I would buy this soundbar again.
Q: How easy is this to install for a technically inept elderly female?
A: That's almost impossible to answer without knowing what equipment you will be using it with. From a technically adept elderly male.
A: No. Headphones are an output device, i.e., they receive sound. The input on the YAS207 is just that, and input. Your headphones won't work like that. However, you may be able to connect bluetooth headphones.
A: I used a hdmi cable so it would automatically turn the sound bar on when I turned on the tv
Q: Had anyone compared this with the Vizio 4551 and the Samsung m550? Does this have better sound?
A: Have not listened to either of the above mentioned. But the Yas207 is awesome.
Q: Does this work on dual voltage or only on 120V ?
A: No, this model is not dual voltage.
