A: An inverter is an electronic component that can produce a clean power wave as well as modulate it, so cooking is even. For example at 50% and inverter will reduce the power to 50 % versus a regular model the power will still be at 100% but it will be turned on and off by the transformer so the average is 50% (the cooking will not be even). If you do not use power level, the power is always at 100% which is not optimal for most foods.

great But…
Great product. Slim lines and modern design. A must for a newer kitchen. Power output is adequate per our needs. Unit is meant to be installed above the stove and it comes with vent and light with variable spread and brightness respectively which is very ideal. Exterior finish we feel resist fingerprints which is the typical problem with this type of finish. However, don't be fooled by the airfryer function, it's not used the same as a countertop airfryer. You can probably get away without this function if you can avoid it or if you already have a countertop version. The cost for this add-on to the product to the same microwave without the airfryer function is way more than the cost of the countertop version.

Excellent mid-size microwave
This 1.5 cu ft microwave is the perfect size for my small kitchen — not too big, not too small. The smart inverter technology heats food evenly every time, no cold spots. Build quality feels solid and durable. After weeks of daily use, I have zero complaints. Highly recommend!

A Gift for My Parents
I needed a microwave with specific external dimensions to fit in the shelves of the kitchen. Most 2.0 Cu. Ft. microwaves are too large. I also wanted to make sure the interior was not too small. This model fit the bill (pun intended) and is quiet when operating. The interior is easier to keep clean than the standard white color. The unit was packaged well and my parents are adjusting to having a control panel that does not have numbers to enter. Overall, they are pleased with the gift. They have more internal space than their old microwave and their foods heats in less time.
