NIU - KQi 100F Foldable Electric Kick Scooter w/ 22 mi Max operating Range & 18 mph Max Speed - Gray

This scooter is extremely good for its price point. For reference, I paid $300 for the scooter. The price on this scooter tends to fluctuate a lot, but I think $300 is a good value for the scooter, and I would struggle to justify spending much more than that. That being said, I'm very satisfied with the quality of the scooter, and it meets all my needs. The regenerative braking is pretty powerful, which allows me to not rely on the disc brakes very much, which is good for longevity. And you can tune the strength of the regenerative braking to your preferences within the mobile app. I appreciate the top speed on this scooter, and it is plenty fast for how I want it. Although I will say, if you are maxing out the acceleration and consistently riding at top speed, your range will drop a good bit. The suspension is also a huge plus side to the scooter. It's very hard to find a scooter at this price point that includes suspension, and it's a very welcome addition to the scooter. It makes the ride a lot more comfortable and smooth, especially over rocks or bumps or anything of that sort. With that being said, you should generally try to avoid going over rocky or bumpy terrain because the tires on the scooter are filled with air. If you were to get a flat, it is a huge pain to replace the tire tube as it requires basically disassembling the whole scooter. Beyond that, the only other pain point I see with this scooter is the folding handlebars. The handlebars were pretty sturdy for the first month of owning this scooter, but after some use, like putting grocery bags on the handle or putting any load on the handles besides just your body weight, I think the handles do introduce some play just because they are pivot points and are more likely to be less rigid. As of now, I am hearing some creaking occasionally when I lean too hard on the handles, which is not ideal. So, if the ultra-compactness of being able to fold the handlebars on top of being able to fold down the stem of the scooter is not that valuable to you, I recommend getting the KQi 100P instead, which is still foldable at the base. It just doesn't allow you to fold down the handlebars. One minor thing I don't like is that the turn signals on the scooter do work, but when they're activated, they make a loud beeping noise which can't be turned off, so I tend to just not use them.

Very sturdy. Very fast. Solid construction. We wish it had a bracket for cell phone. Overall we love it! It is my daughter's favorite thing to do.

I just purchased the Niu 100f and his product is actually amazing at its price point in comparison to all the others I’ve reviewed. Its state of the art specs and features are non existent on other models such as the folding handle bar, grip throttle, and suspension. The only downside, I really wish it was Apple “ find my” capable. And the battery doesn’t last as advertised either. I used up 60% in about an hour of use. Acceleration is fast and handling is great!

Good scooter. Not to expensive. Wish it was a little faster but good purchase over all.

Bought this for my wife as an upgrade to her hiboy s2. Could not be happier for her. It’s an amazing scooter.
