Samsung - 85” Class QN990F Series Neo QLED 8K Mini LED SamsungVision AI Smart Tizen TV (2025)

This tv is very nice and displays movies and shows like no other tv I’ve owned.

I recently purchased the Samsung 85-inch flagship television through Best Buy at a discounted price and was shocked to discover that the customer experience was substantially different from what a consumer would receive when purchasing at full retail price. What was not made sufficiently clear during the buying process is that this product was fulfilled through a third-party vendor. Once the purchase was completed, it felt as though Best Buy stepped away from the transaction, leaving me to resolve delivery and service issues on my own. Unlike similar premium television purchases that often include or offer white-glove delivery and installation options, I was required to seek professional installation independently at an additional cost of approximately $300 to $500. For a television of this size and price point, I believe customers should receive the same level of service regardless of whether the item is purchased at a discount. To make matters worse, my television arrived damaged out of the box, apparently from the third-party vendor's warehouse. The experience that followed was frustrating, with limited accountability and customer support from Best Buy despite purchasing through their platform. If you are considering this large flagship TV, I strongly encourage you to investigate who is fulfilling the order, understand the installation requirements, and be prepared for potential additional expenses. The television itself may be excellent, but the purchasing and delivery experience was disappointing. As a long-time Best Buy customer and technology buyer, I expected a higher level of service and accountability. Unfortunately, this experience fell well short of those expectations.
