Great Upgrade – No More Delays with Matter!
Replaced my old Yale Nest smart lock with this Yale Smart Lock with Matter (Matte Black). The Nest version always had annoying delays when unlocking remotely and WiFi connection issues because it relied on the Nest Connect bridge—super frustrating for quick access. Switched to this one specifically for the Matter technology, and it's a game-changer. No bridge needed, connects directly and reliably through my Google Home setup. Remote unlocking is now fast and instant, with no lag or dropouts. The pushbutton keypad works smoothly, looks sleek in matte black, and setup was straightforward. No issues so far—locks/unlocks perfectly every time, whether via app, voice, or code. Highly recommend if you're tired of outdated smart locks. 5 stars all the way!

Glad that I bought this
was comparing between nest x yale and this lock and I am glad that I bought this one. It worked well with our google wifi network, no issues. after installation it took about few hours to completely sync. Now it works like a charm. Using google home app, I can lock and unlock the lock. I bought the ash color one to match with our door bell and it looks great.

Google yale door lock
Upgraded from the original nest door lock. I like the color can match the nest doorbell. It comes with a sensor that can tell you if the door is open or closed however it don't work with the auto lock feature for some reason when u set it up with the Google home app. It will still autolock when the door is open making that sensor completely useless. Other than that it's a great lock.
