Spent some real time with this Dell before writing a review, and it's held up well across the things that matter most to me. Speed: The i7 1355U paired with 16GB of RAM is plenty for everything in my daily workflow — multiple browser windows open, video calls running, documents and spreadsheets going at the same time. Boot up is fast, the 512GB SSD makes file access instant, and I haven't run into the lag or stutter I had with my previous machine. Display: The 2K resolution makes a real difference. Text is sharp, colors are accurate, and it's bright enough that I don't have to squint near a window. The touchscreen has been a nice bonus when I want to scroll quickly or interact with something on screen without reaching for the trackpad. Battery: This was the one I was most skeptical about, but it's been a pleasant surprise. I can get through a normal work day without hunting for an outlet, and it charges back up quickly. Build quality is solid, the keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the carbon black finish looks sharp without feeling flashy.
