Lenovo - Yoga 7i 2-in-1 16" 2K OLED Touchscreen Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 7 355 2026 - 24GB Memory - 512GB Storage - Luna Grey

With the current electronic market I do feel like it's very hard to find a perfect laptop under $2k but this is a very good option. I use this for personal web browsing and art with light gaming. Let me start with the cons of this laptop. The main issues I have with the laptop are due to the configurations available at Bestbuy. 1. There is no option for 1tb of storage for this model. 512gb is simply not enough storage for most people long term. Add on the fact that Lenovo + the Windows AI crap has a bunch of nonsense apps loaded on by default and after the initial system updates, you start off with about 80gb of your storage used up as soon as you boot it up. There is not an additional slot on the mobo to upgrade this btw you will have to get an external drive down the line. 2. There is no option for the 120hz model(for some reason, this option is just not available in the US??) I feel like in 2026 a 60hz screen on a system over $1k is a bit ridiculous. Odds are your phone has 120hz (my ipad from 2020 even has 120hz screen). Considering the amount of power in the CPU it also feels like a waste. Another issue is during the day the screen simply does not get bright enough. The screen is also super glossy so the glare you get is insane if you use it in a bright environment. 3. The pen is not included and also not sold at bestbuy. I can understand for most people this is a non issue but I feel like by not even having the option I am missing out on an entire feature of the laptop. (I ended up getting one separately and it’s good for light art and notetaking [not practical for notetaking because of the laptop size] but while the pen is great there’s some weird windows software issues that pop up and cause lagging issues) This is a nitpick but the charging cord is a bit short for me personally and unfortunately the cord is embedded into the block so if I wanted a longer cord I would have to get a 65watt block and cord. Also coming from a gaming laptop to me the laptop is light but to others it might be heavy. Onto the Pros, this laptop is FAST, with 24GB of RAM and the intel i7 chip you can multitask and do work without being slowed down by your system. If you’re like me and tend to have a lot of things open at once this is fantastic. The laptop can also handle some light gaming, I played some Fields of Mistria, Stardew, and Spirit City and they all ran fine after adjusting some settings. I will say the 60hz screen definitely was noticeable to me while gaming(it makes things feel like there’s motion blur on). If you’re prone to motion sickness I’d be aware of that; you can change some settings to help but at the end of the day it will still be a 60hz screen. The color accuracy on this laptop is great, a bit oversaturated but good enough for me to continue doing my art. The keyboard is the best I’ve ever used on a laptop; I really like it(but it is a bit of a fingerprint magnet with hand oils). The fans are very quiet and the laptop barely even gets warm for me even when I gamed. The battery life for me has been great and lasts me all day but I don’t travel as much as others so I haven’t used it on battery alone for anything outside of web browsing.

Charger is a bit weaker than I'd like, but the battery life is decent. On power save mode it lasts for superrrr long. Everything runs smooth, and the touchscreen is nice! Its been perfect so far for my schooling and light gaming :)

I needed a machine that could seamlessly transition between a work laptop and a media device, and the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 delivers on all fronts. What stands out: 360° Hinge Flexibility: The hinge is sturdy with no wobble, flipping easily between clamshell, tent mode for watching shows, and flat tablet mode for digital notes or sketches. Touchscreen & Display: The touch input is ultra-responsive, colors are crisp, and working across multiple documents on the 16:10 aspect ratio feels natural. Solid Everyday Speed: Multitasking is smooth and effortless. It handles dozens of open tabs, office software, and streaming simultaneously without bogging down. Battery & Connectivity: It easily clears a standard workday off the charger. Having both Thunderbolt 4 and full-size USB-A / HDMI means no hunting for dongles. Good to know: As a 2-in-1 with an all-metal chassis, it has some heft, so it works best on a desk or your lap rather than holding it in one hand like a small tablet. RAM is soldered on-board, so make sure to configure enough memory from day one to match your long-term needs. An outstanding balance of build quality, performance, and convertible convenience for the price.

I’m very happy with my Lenovo Yoga. It’s fast, modern, and easy to use. I love the 2-in-1 design because I can use it as either a laptop or a tablet. The display looks great, the keyboard is comfortable, and so far it has worked very well for work, studying, and everyday apps. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

It is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop designed for users seeking versatility, smooth multitasking performance, and a large, high-quality display for multimedia consumption.
