Excellent performance, but VERY noisy VRMs.
Excellent performance, but VERY noisy VRMs. The 395 max+ is a solid CPU, probably the best x86 APU on the market, 60Hz display is not an issue at all, and the OLED looks fantastic. However the VRMs have significant coil whine, sounds almost broken.

Best AI MAX 395 with 128gb ram price out there
Can run a tad hot but if you put 2mm thermal pad along heatpipes centered from apu to foam lining and repaste with 7950 ptm you can max it out and it wont go above 72c.
