David Cook...best new artist in 30 years!
No I am not kidding...I have this album, plus all his Axium albums and I also have his indie album Analog Heart on my ipod. David is a true artist and an amazing songwriter. Plus, he is charming and very sexy. Check out The Story Thus Far (youtube if nowhere else). He is working on his next one and am trying to be patient because I want it to be good, but I am having a hard time waiting for it... Don't think about him being an American Idol, just listen to ALL his music and judge for yourself. Also, if you want to go to a real rock concert where an artist sounds better live than recorded I suggest you at least try and go to one of his shows. He is amazing live!

Awesome Album
I listened to this album online. This album is certainly David Cook. His lyrics are so moving. His vocals are outstanding. The songs are very catchy and stick in your head. Barbasol is the most rocking song. Permanent is done with a piano and listening to the lyrics, you can feel his pain. A lot of these songs are an experience in Davids life. It is very unusual that I like every song on an album, but I must say, I think all the songs on this album are good. I absolutely love 10 of them.

Wow!
Of all the American Idol winners, I have to say that David Cook is by far the best. His debut album is in a class all its own. Each of the songs not only have very catchy beats and tunes, but they all carry their own unique message. I have to say that some of the songs are downright moving. No matter what your taste in music, you can't go wrong here.
