Best PL album IMO
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Color Map of the Sun is by far my favorite Pretty Lights album. I like that Derrick is essentially sampling himself. All of the sounds on this album were created by him. He specifically hand picked artists to come to the studio in New Orleans and create whatever sounds he had dreamt up in his head. From this eaoinds, he produced his own vinyl record for his sampling pleasure to create Color Map of the Sun. You just don't see that anywhere else. You can certainly tell he poured his soul into this album and it shows on every track.
