A Raffi: A Young Children's Concert with Raffi [DVD] [1984]

This video stars Canadian folksinger Raffi, who gained fame in the US via his many cable-TV appearances. Raffi has the happy knack of playing to children without playing down to them. The feature songs are such pre-school favorites as "Wheels on the Bus" and "Baby Beluga"; they're simple and uncomplicated enough, but Raffi takes the time to explain to his youthful audience how the songs put together, how rhyme and meter works, etc. Better be careful, or you'll be singing along too. Young Children's Concert with Raffi runs only 50 minutes, so be prepared for several replays each and every day.~Hal Erickson
