Description

Robert Mandel's biopic of college basketball coach Bobby Knight, A Season on the Brink, (the first film made specifically for ESPN) comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that preserves the original broadcast aspect ratio of the film. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by the film's producer, a trailer, a making-of featurette, a controversial interview Knight conducted with Jeremy Schaap, and interviews with former players who were coached by the man. This is a strong disc from Trimark.
