Tom Ford Never Disappoints... A Classic Man Always
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve liked Tom Ford for some time now; find him to be the “Classic Man” through and through. By no means does “Classic” infer old fashioned or outdated, on the contrary, I think Tom Ford is so ahead of things that you feel he is always and forever the same because he’s just good yesterday, today and tomorrow. These are things that a real man aspires to be in life – never old, forever young. Somehow, Tom Ford has been able to take this amazing story & set of characters and given them a breath of his essence. There is so much beauty in every shot in this moie. As some one who loves film I was amazed at the use of lighting and color correction. There was not one single moment that I was not in awe of the complete work. The casts really brought those characters to life on the screen and Colin Firth’s Oscar Nomination was well deserved. When you watch the “Making of…” (that’s in the Special Features) you realize all the actors credit Tom Ford with orchestrating the whole thing masterfully. It’s just amazing to see someone begin to do something new and just be as talented as with everything else that they do. If you want to get an inside look at the master’s mind watch the movie again with his commentary -the insight is brilliant. I can’t wait to see what Tom Ford will give us next.
