First Sci Fi That Deals With Space Travel
Owned for 1 week by when reviewed.Picture quality is great. This is suppose to be the first sci fi movie that deals with space travel. Its a silent movie and it comes in the original color and black and white versions. There are no sub titles but in the special features you can watch the movie with narration I really enjoyed that special feature. The movie only last about 15 min but I really enjoyed it. As a bonus you also get two more shorter silent films: 1. The Eclipse Or The Coutship Of The Sun And The Moon. 2. The Astronomer's Dream.

Cinema History, Restored.
|I have always loved A Trip to the Moon. It is a milestone in early cinema and showed what the medium was capable of. It may seem cheesy by modern standards, but there is still something endearing about the film even today. The soundtracks were modern, and they were an interesting take to say the least. There is plenty of content to merit the price.
