A: Actually according to Intel the 12700H will support two 32GB DDR5. I have this laptop and upgraded to two 32GB sticks for a total of 64GB. No issues with this upgrade.
Q: GPU TDP?
A: The MGP on this is 140W. The MGP on the 3070Ti is 150W.
Q: How hot does it get in extended gameplay.
A: With the fans built into this thing and the ability to manually turn on fans to boosted mode it stays cool and runs great at extended gaming sessions.
Q: Does this laptop have a mux switch?
A: It has something better than a manual MUX. I'm sorry to say that Acer's response is not 100% correct. It has Dynamic Display Switching and Advance Optimus. Which means it has a MUX switch that enables dGPU to directly connect to your internal displays. Instead of a manual MUX, which requires a manual reboot, my Helios 300 RTX3070 Ti, and my friend's Helios 300 RTX 3060 do not require a manual reboot. I also have a 2022 Zephyrus G14, which a manual MUX. I wish all OEMs would implement what Acer did.
Q: Is this pcie m.2 gen 4.0 ssd
A: Yes. And the SSD that came with mine are real Gen 4 x 4, with sequential read speed ~6600 mbps (mine).
