A: The packaging seems to indicate it's a re-certified product. Mine was great and flawless when I got it. Well worth the deal for a great monitor like this.
Q: Can this be used as a TV with directTV?
A: Yes, you can connect an HDMI cable from a DirecTV box to this monitor, but you will not have sound.
A: Yes, there should be connections for audio-out on this G257HU monitor.
Q: Are you able to mount these on a monitor stand? there are no pictures of the back
A: This monitor does not include VESA wall mounting holes.
