Description
Sure, Finn and Jake may be a little eccentric. But stealing someone's garbage? That's downright odd. When the Ice King nabs Finn and Jake's trash in order to construct a Garbage Princess, our two pint-size heroes set out to kick the rude ruler to the curb where he belongs — and find themselves on a fantastic journey through the Land of Ooo. Discover the action, adventure and perils that unfold when Jake and Finn refuse to revoke their rubbish in this all-new chapter in the dynamic duo's saga.Adventure Time breaks out of its slot on primetime and bursts head-first into your world in its video game debut, Hey Ice King, Why'd You Take Our Garbage? From the imaginative mind of the Cartoon Network series' creator, Pendleton Ward, comes an all-new storyline and concept revolving around the show's two heroes. Play as Finn and Jake on a wild journey through the Land of Ooo in the hopes of teaching the Ice King a lesson. Crawl through perilous dungeons, battle ruthless enemies and discover unspeakable treasure in a magical realm. Encounter familiar faces from the show — and get ready to help them perform some outlandish quests. Throw punches, clash swords and even pick enemies up and toss them aside as you do battle as Finn. Stretch to form bridges, change into a boat and manipulate your size using Jake's elastic abilities. One person's garbage may be another's treasure — and Finn and Jake want their treasure back.

Customers are saying
Customers value the engaging gameplay experience, but some find the game's brevity to be a significant drawback. Many comments suggest the puzzles could be more challenging, and a longer playtime would enhance the overall experience. Several players felt the game was too easy and could have benefited from increased difficulty and replayability. The short playtime, while appreciated by some for its accessibility, was a common point of criticism.

This game is pretty much Zelda II: The Adventures of Link with an Adventure Time skin pasted over it. The sprite graphics look beautiful, the music is great in some areas, and there are secrets and references galore. Being able to eat or use all of the items scattered throughout the levels is fun. The game, however, is very short, able to be 100% completed in just a few hours, and there is a lot of repetitive backtracking without shortcuts until near the end, so only true fans of the show might want to check this one out..

If you're a fan of the series, pick up this game now. It has all the same humor as in the television series. This game is basically a Zelda game wrapped with Adventure Time paper. The only thing that may be a turn off is that this game is short, you can probably finish it in 5 hours, also there's no replay bonuses.

The humor of the game is wonderful, bringing the enjoyment of TV show to your portable system. The only downfalls were the ease of gameplay (no difficulty settings) and the repetitive nature of the quests and high amount of backtracking gets bothersome.

Adventure Time: Hey Ice King, Why'd You Steal Our Garbage is game you'll enjoy more if you are a fan of the TV show. The graphics are well done and the 3d effect does work well in this game. The game however suffers from being too repetitive as you essentially do the same kind of quests in each section of the game. If you are a fan of the show, then the familiar characters and jokes will keep you entertained through out the length of the game. Otherwise, you may find it lacking.

The game is a decent game if you are looking for something with adventure. You get different items which you use for different situations, and you can combine them. There is minor puzzle solving which will be nice for beginners. The downside is that there is a lot of back and forth between areas. You will enter new areas to find out you need something and go through areas till you find it, at which point you will go back and complete the quest. The puzzles could be harder and the game longer. Overall decent, but get it when its cheaper or on sale.

The game is a fun Zelda II-type rpg-adventure that regardless if you're into the show or not is pretty fun. It retains the shows humor and has a pretty sweet soundtrack, the combat could've been better but it is what it is. The major faults of the game is how short it is and the fact that after you beat it you can start a new game + but there isn't any real incentives to trek through it again. Pick it up on the cheap if you want a fun but short ride!

This really is a fun game, but the only problem I have with it is the fact that the game is so short. Just when you start really getting into it the game is over.
