Gourmet Herbs (9-Pod)
Q: What if I want different herbs?
A: We have Custom Herb Seed Pod Kits that you are able to make the selections of your choice from a list of herbs that we provide, or you can purchase one of our Grow Anything Seed Pod Kits to plant your own Herb Seeds that you purchased from another retailer. Please visit our website to find more information about our Custom Seed Pod Kits and our Grow Anything Seed Pod Kits. Please reach out to our Customer Service Team with any further questions or concerns.
Q: How long can you keep seed pods before they must be used?
A: We guarantee germination of our seed kits for one year after purchase from any authorized seller. Generally, the seeds in a seed kit will remain viable for two years from the date of assembly if stored in a cool, dry location. As seeds get older, their germination rate falls and the average number of days to germination will rise - so if you have had a seed kit for a couple of years, give it a little more time to germinate. Critical to seed life is proper storage. Store seed kits where it's cool and dry, for example inside a baggie in the refrigerator, and they will keep longer than at room temperature. Don't store them where it is warm and humid; they may want to start germinating inside the seed kit box and then be spent by the time you plant them. The nutrients have a long shelf life and need no special care. Please reach out to our Customer Service Team by using the Contact Us form on our website with any further questions or concerns.
Q: I bought this and only 3 sprouted. Why did the other 3 not sprout?
A: We're very sorry to hear that you've had germination issues. It is disappointing when Seed Pods don't germinate. We do test our seed pods for a 99% germination rate, but Mother Nature often has her own schedule. That's why we guarantee pod replacements for non-germinating seeds. However, when multiple Seed Pods do not germinate, it could indicate a larger Garden issue. Please reach out to our Customer Service Team on the Aerogarden website so we may further assist.
Q: so how do you do it and where do you plant them
A: AeroGardens are indoor hydroponic gardens that range in size from 3-pod (Sprout), 6-pod (Harvest), 9-pod(Bounty), 12-pod (Farm12) and 24-pods (Farm24). We have many different types of seed pod kits that grow in our gardens, Gourmet Herbs, Heirloom Salad Greens, Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes and many more.
