    Truly an amazing Metal experience!

Slipknot is back. Metal is now spelled Slipknot. The single most important thing any Metal fan can do for them self during their life is to purchase "All Hope Is Gone". Corey Taylor is a jaw dropping vocalist, able to change his vocals consistently from mellow to monster throughout. In my opinion, Corey Taylor is the greatest living vocalist in all of the Rock genres, put together. What Slipknot has done here is given the Metal community one of the greatest Metal albums ever made. I am so ecstatic over the entire 12 songs, this is now my favorite Metal album of all time. Musically, you are getting Thrash, a dab of Death Metal and some of the most incredible arrangements and layers of Metal genius that will leave you in total awe. "Snuff" is the easy going tune to chill out to here, it is fitting to have it be track number 11, by this time it makes for a nice break in the Thrash attack. "Psychosocial" is the most prolific and by far the most powerful Metal song I have heard in years. If you are into any type of heavy music, please do not hesitate to buy this powerful piece of work. I personally thank all of the Slipknot nine, I have this Metal treasure now to enjoy forever.

    Great Album

.Execute. Is the intro to the song Gematria (The Killing Name). .Execute. is around a min in length, and is mainly all 9 members playing and is obvious singing, however it is fairly hard to hear what he is saying. Gematria is a really good song and is apparent it has an intro because it immediately starts up with all instruments. i Don't listen to sulfur. Psychosocial is one of the best songs i've ever heard, if you dont want the album just download this song. Dead Memories i think is about Corey Taylor(singer) or another member getting married, Corey stated "trading my emotions for a contract to commit", it is still a good song, not as heavy as old slipknot though. Vendetta, and Butcher's Hook are great songs. All Hope Is Gone is making the statement that all attempts of figuring us out is futile, it is a great song nonetheless. If the booklet is held up to the light the nonagram can be seen. overall a great album.

this cd is awesome and its full of awesome songs slipknoit has been around since 1995 onwards this band is amazing of course they are better then both kid rock and eminem and how is eminem even consider rock music sure he has a few songs with guitars in them that sound sort of metal-ish but he is not a rock artist he is a rap and hip hop artist kid rock even does rap and hip hop music too kid rock is not even a rock artist hes more of a rip off of icp without the make up and stuff plus both kid rock and eminem stole tons and tons of ideas from icp including their side projects but this band blows both eminem and kid rock out of the water

What Slipknot Fans Have Been Waiting For!

This album has all the best elements of Slipknot and is now my favorite album they have recorded to date. I've been listening since their Self-Titled release and this has to be the best so far. All three styles of each previous albums seem to come together here. The growth of their music skills as a whole can really been seen on this album. There are very heavy songs and very soft songs, which make a nice to mix to the album as a whole. If you have been wanting to get into Slipknot, now is the best time!

If ur like me all of slipknots albums previous to this one are nothing but alot of banging and unrecordable music, they were nothing more than a "must see live show" there style of music was holding the song writing talents of cory taylor back. Luckily for us rock fans he kept his original band stone sour together therefore, if u love stone sour and u love hard rock music, you will love this album. It sounds more like a new stone sour album just a little edgier and less radio friendly. It is by far the best slipknot album ever.

To me, 'All Hope is Gone' is like another 'Vol 3' - there are some really good songs, and then there are some songs that you just don't care for. It IS still Slipknot, and the CD is still good, but it just doesn't live up to my expectations. If you like Slipknot, there's no doubt about it: buy this CD. However, don't expect to bring this record home and be blown away and brutalized like the self-titled album or "Iowa".

Who knew this would be the final release from Slipknot as a complete and original band? Paul Gray (bass player) would later overdose after its release. Slipknot would also fire their drummer, Joey. Lots of people didn't like this release...including slipknot themselves. Idk why!! Its a powerful heavy release. The songs are really catchy and it doesn't seem to have any filler.
