A: The Batteries are unable to be changed as they use a Lithium Ion Battery and are unable to be changed or serviced
A: Yes it tracks your steps. I was using my Iphone to monitor my steps, and opted to get this instead. As I recall when I first got it, I noticed they slightly differed in the steps count. You can set your goals, Weight, sleep, steps, calories but I need to read up on how best to utilize them. For me, it set me up for a goal of 8,000 steps a day, which usually the goal would be 10,000. I am 5'2, 134 pounds 60 yrs old. Another pound and it would consider me as obese, oh well.
A: the Amazfit Band 5 you can adjust the brightness by swiping down to 'More'--> Settings--> Brightness you can adjust it , however the Band 5 doesn't have an Auto brightness option
A: Hi there, there are 2 things I would recommend checking : - keep swiping up to the "Heart Rate "App tap and run a manual measure to verify the sensor is working - then on the Zepp App --> Profile --> Band 5 --> Health Monitoring --> make sure the monitoring frequency is 1 minute. If the issue persists contact our support team at [email protected]
Q: Do you have to be connected to Alexa/Amazon or can you turn that off entirely?
A: No you don't have to be connected to Alexa , it can be turned off
A: You have to install an app on your phone. I use Zepp on my Android phone. Set up your preferences with the phone app, then pair the Amazfit Band 5 to the phone via Bluetooth by "adding" the device from the app's list of compatible choices.
A: Hi there the Amazfit Band 5 battery life is 15 days (assuming 30 minutes for automatic heart rate detection, 100 notifications, 30 wrist lifts, and 5 minutes of other operations every day. 30 minutes of running every three days). The most power-consuming functions of the Amazfit Band 5 include motor vibration, GPS positioning, and the light of the screen. If you often run for exercises, receive pushed messages frequently, use instant scalping band face, or set a much too long screen-on duration, then it's normal that your band runs out of battery power fast. Our Developers are already in the trial stage for Blood sugar so hopefully very soon we will see it on all our watches
